Washboard abs are not just for the young. We have all heard the myth that
a toned abdominal area becomes a thing of the past once you reach a certain

performed almost anywhere without any special equipment. Just lie flat on
your back and lift your shoulder blades off of the ground. Hold in this
position for ten seconds and then lie back on the floor. Repeat this a
minimum of ten times twice daily for optimal results. Remember to stretch
and flex your lower back after completing this exercise to ensure the
muscles which support your torso do not become unbalanced.
It is common knowledge that staying in shape and achieving the body of
your dreams is much harder than letting yourself go. Yet, the benefits of
exercise and the proper diet cannot be discounted. You will live a longer,
happier and healthier life by taking care of yourself. Exercise can be fun
if you find a buddy to work out with or join a support group. Yet, even if
